1. Introduction 

  • The HyperMotion League's mission is to deliver a well-organized league with suitable discipline, ensuring an enjoyable experience for players in competitive football. The following Terms & Conditions are set to fulfil this mission and are acceptable to everyone. 

2. Organisation 

  • The league is owned and organized solely by Derby Islamic Centre (D.I.C). 

  • The League Manager is Dr Shahab Ali, supported by the League Authority, a group of young adult volunteers. The Manager and the Authority have the final say in the league. 

3. Fixtures 

  • The full fixture list will be available on the League Website before the season starts for planning. 

  • Fixtures will be on weekdays between 7:00 PM and 10:00 PM, with varying days and times. 

4. Match Times 

  • Pre-game: Players must arrive at least 20 minutes before kick-off for attendance, fee checks, uniform/boots checks and warm-up. 

  • Kick-off Times: Announced with the fixture list. 

  • Match Duration: 40 minutes total (2 halves of 20 minutes each) with a 3-minute halftime. No extra time or penalty shootouts. 

5. Kick-Off 

  • 1st Kick off with team playing at Home.  

6. Gameplay Rules 

  • Substitutions: The League Authority may restrict substitutions if there are insufficient players.  

  • Goalkeeper Rules: Teams can choose a fixed or rotating goalkeeper. Only the goalkeeper is allowed in the goalkeeping area (6-meter radius semi-circle). Violations result in penalties. 

  • General Rules: 

  • Head Height: The ball is allowed above head height. 

  • Slide Tackling: Not permitted; considered a foul. 

  • Back Pass: Allowed but over-doing will result in freekick to opponents. 

  • Out of Play: If ball goes out from the sides, then restart game with opposite team 

 If it goes out from behind goalkeepers side, ball returns to GoalKeeper unless defensive team purposely kicks it out in which case, game restarts from opposite goalkeeper.  

  • Offside: No offside rule in 6-a-side football. 

7. Fouls and Misconduct 

  • Free kicks are awarded for dangerous play (kicking, tripping, or charging), excessive or reckless tackling, slide tackling (including blocks), handball (except by the goalkeeper in their area), and time-wasting. 

  • All Free kicks are direct  opposition stands 3 yards away.  

8. Penalty Kicks 

  • Penalties are awarded when an outfield player touches the ball inside their goal area or when a goalkeeper handles the ball outside their area. 

  • Penalty kicks have a one-yard run-up, with defenders outside the goalkeeping area. 

9. Punishments 

  • Issued at the referee's discretion.  

  • Either a Yellow card / Sin Bin ( 5 Minutes / Red Card.  

  • Sin bins - 5 minutes punishment - use for dissent - bad behaviour - last man offence (denying an obvious goal scoring opportunity) 

  • Two red cards result in suspension from the following MatchdayThe referee can forfeit a match if serious misconduct occurs, including fights, resulting in points deductions for both teams. 

10. Referee 

  • The referee’s decisions are final and must be respected by all players. Dissent may result in punishments (section 9)  

11. Charges/Fees 

  • League Registration: £15 per player (one-time, compulsory). 

  • Kit Personalisation: £10 per player (one-time, optional but recommended). 

  • Deposit: £21 (covers last 3 fixtures, £7 per game). This is non-refundable as it covers the final 3 matches. 

  • Payment: All fees must be paid before each match. The team captain collects fees from players and makes a single bulk payment to the League Owners. The league covers venue and operational costs; remaining funds are donated to the League Owners. 

12. Cancellations 

  • No Show: Failure to attend without notice results in a £50 charge and a 5-0 forfeit. 

  • Cancellation Notice: 

  • Before Sunday 12:00 AM (week prior): No charge, but team loses 5-0. 

  • After Sunday 12:00 AM (week prior): £25 charge and 5-0 forfeit. 

  • On Match Day: £40 charge and 5-0 forfeit. 

  • Late Arrival: £25 charge and 5-0 forfeit. 

  • Opponent No Show: A friendly match will be arranged if possible. Standard fees apply, and your team will receive a 5-0 league win (additional goals scored count in the league). If no friendly is arranged, you win 5-0 with no fee. 

  • Withdrawing from League: 

  • With 2 Weeks' Notice: No charge. 

  • Immediate Withdrawal: £50 charge and removal from the league. 

  • Re-entry: Your team will be automatically entered into the next season unless you withdraw according to the above terms. 

  • Ban Policy: Regular late arrivals or no-shows may result in a team ban. 

13. Clothing 

  • Teams will receive custom-designed shirts featuring League Sponsors. Each team must choose a unique base colour. Players can personalize their kits (name and number) for an additional charge. 

  • Allowed: Football shorts, sports pants, joggers. 

  • Not Allowed: Jeans, trousers. 

  • Compulsory: Shin pads, football boots. 

  • Footwear: 

  • Rubber stud or astro-turf boots are recommended. 

  • Metal stud boots and non-football boots are prohibited. 

  • No jewellery allowed. 

14. Complaint Procedure 

  • If you have any concerns or suggestions, please email us at [email protected]. All feedback is reviewed by the League Authority. You can also call our offices and request to speak with a League Manager. 

  • We will acknowledge your complaint within a few days and provide a written response within 10 days. We aim to resolve complaints at the first stage. If not satisfied, you may escalate it via email. 

  • The League Authority is committed to fairness and values your feedback to improve our services. 

15. Additional Terms 

  • The HyperMotion League reserves the right to terminate your contract at any time. 

  • The League, its owners, and venue managers are not liable for any injuries.
